Gentlemen,
I bought this dagger in Dieppe/France.
The only information I could found comes from a friend of mine in the north of France. It is an english dagger, fabricated between 1941 and ?42 and used by the Canadian troops in Dieppe. Additionally he made the presumption that an item like this could be possibly one of the rarest commonwealth commando daggers of ww2 because they were issued just a couple of month.
Do you ever heard about this commando knife or do you have any related photos ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot !

Do you have any with the owners' names engraved?
Hello,
unfortunately not. But I?m very close to a named 1890 german imperial cadet dagger with an interesting history. We?ll see.
But the second one from the left has a nice blade presentation period done.
"Who don?t have joy on a shiny sword / The fly of the falcon / The noble horse / The beautiful wife / Has no truly heart inside."
Best regards.

Gentlemen,
I?m new in this forum and I just want to say hello with a photo of my naval daggers. This will be my first contribution here.
German imperial naval daggers are my favourites.
Additionally I like other rare and famous weapons.
My best wishes to the members of this forum.
Best regards.
