    1. I made the propeller blades from a soda can.
    2. The markings on the original was brush painted, so I painted the markings with a toothpick.
    3. Yes, my Kaiten model is finally finished. I am so happy that I had to start a new thread for it. I will not claim that the model is totally accurate. I only had some photo's, the measurements and some old scetches to work from, but I think that it looks like a Kaiten, so I am happy. The original Kaiten that I have based my model on, was discovered by american troops in september 1945. I decided to keep the weathering to a minimum, since this was a one way weapon. I weathered the markings, to simulate outdoor storage.I hope that you like my scratch built effort. All the best Snoopy

I have had a spot of trouble with the old kite, so I had to find some new transportation. Thank you very much for the kind words. I am glad that you like my model. It's only the second submarine model that I have ever built. All the best Snoopy

This is my model of the type XXIII late war german submarine. It's from a kit, by ICM. The scale is 1:144. I added a few scratch built details. I finished the model as U-2322. I hope you like it. All the best Snoopy
    7. I am sorry for the late answer. I hope that the Kaiten will be finished in about a week. I wish that I could buy kits by Lindberg, in Norway, but I don't think that there are any importers of Lindberg kit's. The PT boat looks great. Lindberg allso have a couple of Japanese submarines in 1:72 scale, that looks stunning. Merry Christmas Snoopy

    9. A little progress report on my Kaiten project. It's allmost finished now. I still have to make a couple of decals, and the stand. I hope you like it. Snoopy It's not an easy model to take a good picture of, because it's quite long.
