Established on 1 August 2015 by ministerial order 470.  This quite extensive ministerial order sets the awards for the new Aerospace Forces born from the merger of Air Defence Forces and Space Forces.

By authority of Order 470 of the Defence minister of the RF dated 1 August 2015, these air force decorations will now have an associated undress ribbon for every day wear when all awards aren't required.  (This is a first for the RF)

Air Force decoration "For merit" - Air Force decoration "For distinction" -  Commendation of the "Commander in chief of the Air Force" - Decoration "For combat duty in air defence forces".

Decoration "For Distinguished Service in Special Circumstances".  Established on 31 October 2012 by ministerial 989.  Awarded to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, servicemen of Internal Troops of Russia, federal civil servants, employees of the Interior Ministry of Russia, for high performance in service and diligence in the performance of tasks during a period of martial law, a state emergency, an anti-terrorist operation, in the context of an armed conflict, in the aftermath of accidents, natural or man-made disasters or other emergencies.

Decoration "For Excellent Service in the MVD" 1st class.  Established on 31 October 2012 by ministerial 989. Awarded to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia with at least 10 years of continuous service in one of the bodies of the MVD already awarded the decoration 2nd class, for courage and selflessness demonstrated in the line of duty, for achieving high results in personal performance, for marked improvement of professional skills, for the development and introduction of new working methods to improve the efficiency of MVD bodies.

The 2nd class decoration can be bestowed after only 5 years of service for the same criteria as the 1st class award.

Shows the real life out there...  Shear boredom, fatigue...  Sporadic combat.

Looking at the ribbons, the centre ribbon top row can only be a CdG TOE...  Even worn and tarnished...  Does that look like one?

Interesting!  Thanks!  If I understand correctly, same book, just multiple editions with supplements up to 1940.  So there are 3 editions more complete than mine.  Still, incredible reference.

There are a few abbreviations I can't figure out that aren't in the table of abbreviations at the end of the book, maybe you can shed some light on them?

They usually appear immediately after the soldiers rank, for example:

Soldat 8 ch. fr.   or 4 ch. fr.  or 7 ch. fr.    

What does ch. fr. stand for?

Found this incredible reference work at a local gun show this afternoon!  I never expected to find such a thing outside of a European flea market!  

The LIVRE D'OR DE LA CARTE DU FEU (GOLD BOOK OF THE FIRE CARD) detailing thousands upon thousands of recipients of the CROIX DU FEU, most with a photo of these recipients, and the list of their individual awards.  Unit after unit after unit...  Even page fulls of recipients of the clasp for Russia with many having been awarded Russian imperial awards.  The cover is a bit worn but the inside is in awesome shape!  This is a big book, and almost 2 inches thick.  Simply fascinating find!

Can anybody tell me about this one?  I saw it on eBay, am unfamiliar with it...  A late official item or unofficial/associative?

I spend an inordinate amount of time on Russian auction and phaleristic web sites seeking clarity (if there's any to be found) into the veritable deluge of new ODMs pouring out of the many ministries and departments.

Still can't find the order of precedence for the MoD...  It's driving me nuts!
