The 42nd Highlanders, known as the Blackwatch, bandsman uniform. The Transvaal Scottish were affiliated to the Black Watch. I have to admit that this is not my field of expertise so any inputs are welcome.

A member of the British South Africa Police who served in the Eat African campaign during ww1. This particular uniform is attributable. He is holding a captured mauser pistol leather holster that is dated 1916.
