Hi friends,
Please help with this.
I am owner of a special side cap, it look like a common
hat but the flaps could be protective to the ears.
Someone told me that this type of equipment was used
in arktic conditions by ?ships and u-boats.
It's very much a ordinary hat burt really smart solution if
its really cold. Inside the hat is an M and the year 1939 with
black ink.

Dear friends,
For some times ago I bought a sidehat with "flaps" who can protect
the ears.
The sidehat is very like the common type but the flaps are there.
Inside is a stamp M (kriegsmarine) and the year 1939.
I have talk to some people but none has a clue, someone belive
that the hat came from the North Atlantic fleet or ships and boats
who operated in tha area.
The hat looks authentic and well used.
Comments???

One question is about the clocknumbers. My

But is there somewhere an owerview where all this
number where placed?
It would be nice to know where the clocks han been working
