"Approved wartime RK manufacturers: C E Juncker; Godet*; Zimmermann; Klein & Quenzer; Steinhauer & L?ck; Otto Schickle; Deschler & Sohn"
That's all, folks. No amount of wishful thinking is going to change anything."
Wilhelm Deumer offered the RK in their wartime awards catalog. I'm not saying that they manufactured them, but do we know that they didn't?

I would be interested to know whether Gordon has revised his opinion of "Rounder" RKs based on the new evidence which has been gleaned by the recent testing.

Okay, I thought it might be a Juncker. I just wasn't sure from the pics!

Who is the manufacturer of the first example posted?

Same case, different resident.

The reverse, however, is very different.

Here's another one marked "Silber." The obverse looks very similar to yours.

I've not noticed that they've multiplied, but they certainly magically appear!

I don't know. The picture is from John R. Angolia's For Fuhrer and Fatherland -- Political and Civil Awards of the Third Reich, second edition.

Here's a picture of Heinrich Himmler's medal bar, with all three Flower Wars medals.

Can anyone explain how worn or cracked dies for RK frames would be repaired?

How exactly would an RK die be repaired?
0 -
I would wager that it was simply artistic preference.

Thank you, P!

Hey Prosper, in your opinion (or knowledge, if it's the case) had the dies you saw in England in 1981 ever been "repaired"?

If they ever existed....

At a glance that looks like a Schickle RK, Dave.
