12x magnification loupe for examining recon photos. This is especially fitting in my collection since I have a grouping to an observer who was a recon photographer, and I also have a camera of the type he would have used. The loupe is of exceptional quality, and weighs 11.5 oz, or 330g.

A couple more. Flak(?) and one wearing a para badge (I think).

You've been having some very nice weekends! What maker is on that PAB?

From what you've shown, I don't see anything wrong with it.
Oh, and by the way, the maker is Emil Voos. Nice!

Photo from the internet for reference. Both pictures must have been taken in roughly the same time period.

Zoomed in. Notice his pilot badge is above the EKI. He must have been very proud of his piloting!

This photo I recently got has a Luftwaffe ace in the shot: Hermann Graf, one of only 27 people to be awarded the Knight's Cross with oaks, swords, and diamonds. He is credited with 212 air victories.

Bravo, well found! Birdie had a rough landing or two, but it's still a beautiful thing.

Neat little flight item I just got. Electrical control for the heated flight suits. Now I need a suit with which to test it out.

Thanks for your comments, gents. When I first saw this knife, I wondered if the grips had been refinished, since they are very nearly free of dings and scratches. But looking it over carefully, I'm convinced that the knife is all original and in to-die-for condition. Now I just need to find a takedown version, perhaps a little saltier for contrast.
Regards,
Kevin

Brought my only gravity knife out for a photo shoot. I'd like to find a nice takedown version some day. Only very slight blemishes on this piece, including a small ding on the handle and some light surface scratches on the blade.

I'd always thought the Junckers were the nicest, but those Deumers are top-notch! Congrats, guys.

Here's another slightly different variation: the orienting arrow ends on this one are red, instead of the usual black. Also came with the extension strap.

Some nice covers there. Being an air gunner fan, here's my favorite magazine.
