Bonjour,
A friend of mine has just purchased this british general uniform.
I think that this uniform is dating around WW2.
On the shoulder, there is the general rank insignia and a little "R" under.
On the chest 12 ribbons, which are the following:
Order of the Bath (large),
DSO,
Military cross,
1914 or 1914-15 star,
British war medal 1914-1920,
victory medal with oak leaf,
General service medal,
1939-45 star,
Jubilee 1935,
Coronation 1937,
St Stanislas order,
St Anne order (large)
Thinking that ribbons and insignia are genuine, is there any expert who can give a name to this uniform?
Thank you for your help.
Thierry
