    1. Hey guys, I had a discussion about this cross. For me it is a fake.What is your opinion? There is a mark BVA???

    3. Hey Tony, there whas nothing attached to it (not that i know of) I bought it like it is. I have the same idee about it being a commemorative coin. It is WWI and i bought it because of my interest in the German WWI navy but i have never seen one like it before. Grusse Vince

    6. Hey Joe, Nothing wrong with that.I accept your opinion fully and also understand your opinion. The question off increasing the value.The seller is a trusted man and did NOT in anyway refur to the marking because he did not know.When i told him about the mark he was honest and more than willing to take it back.I kept it with me because i was not sure and asked you guys for your opinion first for witch i thank you. For wathever its worth it's still hanging in the balance........ I keep you guys posted of my decision.

    9. The first ship sunk during WWI whas HMS Amphion. She run on a mine layed by the konigin Luise. The konigin Luise whas sunk by firing. Hms Amphion picked the survivers up but ran into a mine layed by the Konigin Luise.

    11. Seller did not know of stamp. The seller is no problem he is a trusted guy and will take it back. Only i dont know if i will give it back Will see after some more digging
    12. I lookt at this cross over and over again. My eyes even look cross now Everything seems correct and in detail Only the L/52 mark is a riddle I have a gut feeling this is a genuine cross Maybe i am just fooling myself

    15. looks like they put a WWI core in a other frame But why stamp L/52 over the stability pin Its bearly visible with the naked eye and L/52 seems to have been boxed. I think a lot of efford to make a fake but clearly thinks don't end up.

    18. The cross felt and lookt nice so i bought it. Once home to my surprise i found this marking L/52 on the top of the cross. Its hard to spot with the naked eye I think it stands for the maker C.F. Zimmermann a well known maker of WWII crosses. Maybe they made replacement WWI crosses?
