Hi John,
Criteria for handguns. You have to be a member
Of a gun club and be an active member, in training and competitions.
To get license of a .22lr hand gun, at least 6 month membership
And you have to prove your skills in gun safety and shooting.
You have to get at least 46p out of 50 shooting at 25 meters on a
Pistol target. You have 5 shoots in the gun. And you shoot with one hand.
You need to shoot three 46:ers to get a license.
To get a 9 mm .38 or .45, at least 1 year membership and get at least
43p out of 50. Same criteria as the .22lr.
You have to bay a .22lr first.
You have to store all guns in a weapon cabinet.
The license for handguns only last 5 years then you
Have to renew them.
I hope that it made some sense. My English skills are not the best.
Best regards,
Ronny.
I am trying to attach a picture on a pistol target,

Thanks byf,
Yes you need a license to own guns here
In Sweden. And if you collect weapons
First you need a permit to collect then
A license on each gun or rifle.
You even need license for deactivated.
Cheers,
Ronny.

whats written on it - KUK Sturmsch?tzen? (can not read it clearly)
than it would be Stormshooters.
but the badge looks more like a trench fighter.
christian
If this was a Swedish badge, it had to be the most obscene badge
Ever made.
K*K in Swedish is the same as D**K

Hi Flyingdutch,
Thanks for the information.
The gun is from Norway and if I remember
Correct it was given to a Swedish police man after the war,
It was in his possession to his death. The gun was sold to a
Local gun dealer where I found it five-six years ago.
I will try to do some more research.
I have no plan on re-blue it..
All my collecting guns are matching numbers so fare,
(All I only have three guns and one rifle)
But if I find a stg 44 I might make an exception
Adding some more pictures,
The P08 kit.
Cheers
Ronny.

Hi Don.
Interesting discussion you started Don.
Maybe we can identify the original wound badge.
I have a few of that type with (all in one) badge, hinge and hook
All from different makers. They all have some differences in style
And sizes of the hinge and hook.
Mike any chance for more detail pictures?
Best regards,
Ronny

Hi byf,
Yes we can have handguns in Sweden, but we need a
Permit. I have permit for target shooting and permit for
collecting. It is very hard to get permit for gun collecting
In Sweden.
Yes I know I will do the right thing
I will post some picture of my P08 in the Firearms & Ammunition forum.
Cheers
Ronny.

Thanks byf,
If you own some property you can shoot as much as you want.
Of course not in a crowded area.
One permit is about 30$ US.
Cheers,
Ronny.
