      Sorry but i don't have any idea how much it's worth now? I know I would not pay over 75.00 for it.

      Yes, it is a shame but I got it at a discounted price so as long as it is original at least then I got my money's worth. How would a clipping like this affect the value of it, would it be almost worthless or still keep some of it's value? I don't usually ask about money and such, not looking for a specific value or anything, just a general idea on how much these sort of "mods" affect value on items.

      Hi guys

      Here are some photos of my DK, Mike has raised the same points I did a year 1/2 ago about supply,contract from another outside vender,Bombed out factory ETC: The response was they are fake because I said so and no mater what you say or show will change my mind! So I just let the self proclamed experts have there way.

      Hi guys,I am quite familiar with these DK's.I'm the first one to post one on WAF!! First it was given a thumbs up and then Tom Hanson started his crusade against them. Funny thing about Tom is just 6 month before this all started he was a self proclamed novice?? and then he was the worlds foremost expert!! Any way I got my dotted DK along with two cloth DK's from a vets son at a local gun show (I think I payed 600 for the three)He was looking to buy a Colt 70 series 45 and that what the gun cost. He also had several common badges and tinnes ETC: but wanted way too much money for them. There is no dought in my mind there ok. Both cloth DK's are mint and have the flaw in the nine, so I don't think he was putting one over on me. I will pay 300 for mint cloth DK's all day long!! I will post photos later I may have to take some new ones (new PC and some things did not get transfered).

      Hi I also had one of these in the packet, I think most every one has had one of these at one time.Before the internet clubs sprang up, every one short of some experts thought these were ok. The research by some dedicated collectors and the internet has made this hobby much safer (and very painfull at times!).

      Hi Bill

      Marcus is correct the cross should be a 27 marked one,I have one in the small tan packet. I posted this cross and packet on wehrmacht-awards.com And was told the same thing and also in Gordons book has Reference to them. My packet is intact (with the flap).It seems I only have limited amount of space to post photos?I have more of the packet and cross.
