When trying to price Juncker RK's you have to first brake it down to the various periods/markings.

Is there a particular one you are looking for, eg:

Neusilber frames /non-magnetic core

'800' / magnetic core

'800' + 'dot'

'800' + 'L/12'

'800' + 'lazy 2'

'800' + 'upright 2'

'800' + 'micro 2'

There are not many Juncker RK's on the web at the moment but there is one on Helmut Weitze's website so you can see for yourself what the price is like. I can't think of anywhere else that has a Juncker Rk on sale at the moment.

Am i correct in that the right one is a '20' or a '134'? The middle one must be a '1' or a '2', etc.... Somethimes collectors are so weird (myself included) as we can talk in riddle's

Yes, we talk in numbers! Centre is '1', right is '134'

You are right about that observation. I noticed a similar thiing with a 1939 EK1 Spange I was selling. One time waster wanted extra pictures, etc and when everthing was supplied he decided to buy one from a dealer which was more expensive and in lesser condition. Unreal.

Well there are 2 easy ways of telling if it's a '24'...

1) Check on the side of the little ring, quite often there is an additional mark there. Mine has 2 acorns.

2) Measure the size of the frame. '24' EK2 are slightly larger than standard and are referred to as 'wide frame'.

Finally, the font style from the obverse of the packet.

It's in very nice condition as you can see and I believe the cross and packet have always been together.

For your perusal and comments, this Paulmann & Crone EK2. The cross is unmarked but seems to compare favourably with other EK2 identified from this maker.

This particular example is non-magnetic.

Perhaps this maker used 2 cores? Maybe an early and a late version?

Hey you EK2 guys!!

I have here what I believe are 2 '23' EK2's (well one is clearly marked as such). I have looked long and hard at the 2 and believe both are the same maker, even though there is a distinct difference in height in the '1813' and the core and frosting have very different finishes.

Would you agree both are from the same maker??
