      Very interesting LW Para .

I only seen 3 of these "JFS" LW Para badges throught the years I have been on internett .

From pics it looks like a good one to me . Think You have got a good deal on that one .

      Hello Nan Su,

It looks like the others that were deemed acceptable to me as well. As Jan stated,

'very interesting' - I wouldn't call it an outright fake - in a way, I like it alot.

    2. Hi Guys,

Here is an unmarked Luft Ground Combat Badge that I recently acquired and I am seeking opinions as to who the manufacturer might be. I bought it on the assumption that it is of Juncker origin, but I would like to have some other collectors' thoughts to solidify my belief. I know that the Juncker GCB is a tough nut to come by, so additional thoughts on this one would be quite appreciated. This is the first I've come across that has the alternate style catch/baseplate for zinc Junckers' rather than the long oval style catch/baseplate that one is accustomed to seeing on the late Junckers - everything else looks quite "normal". The eagle is definately buntmetall and is attached by a small rivit. She weighs in at 26.3 grams.

    3. I don't think I've seen an authentic Glider Badge by this maker in years, if at all.

I myself don't recall EVER seeing a Glider Badge by Deumer either. I am in agreeance here with the others regarding the mm here - Deumer had basically the same mm throughout the war - no discernable difference from beginning to end. The mm on your Glider just doesn't match up to a period Deumer mark.

    4. Hi Kurt,

I've never seen one like it before, with that setup / rivit combination. I must admit that the front of the badge does look to be a spot on Osang. I do like the mm also - it's hard to imitate that fudged up "G" and the end of "OSANG". The catch looks Osang as well as JTW had mentioned.

I can't comment on the rivits - again, I never saw this style of rivit on an Osang before.

Overall I would say it is OK - I just wish we could see a second or third example that has your badges' stylization. That would be icing on the cake! Definately a conversation piece!
