Hi
The Eugen at right is rather certain Eugen Arns who spent nearly the entire War as Marine pilot. I have read his BAMA file. He was back at LFA J-thal at least from early Dec 1915. Eugen Arns was born in Kevelaer not far from Düsseldorf.

Gunnar
Hi Gunnar, does it mention anything about his award record?0 -
Check if the seller have other document or something related to the soldier, quite often they broke up groupings and people usually pay more to reunite the lot.

Thanks a lot!

Yup, the arts and sciences stuff.
Wow.. those pieces are then seriously dangerous. Is the SDA discussion conclusive? can you share the link?
Look at the level of details they made, they must have found the original tooling of those rare medals.

Sure, let’s meet Fl.Ob.Mt Anesorge, wearing his old artillery unit outfit with a seefliegerabzeichen and two award ribbons, the 2nd ribbon behind EK2 is unclear to me.1 -
Thank you so much! Guess our guy is Fl.Ob.Mt. Anesorge. What about the first name?

Nice interwar piece. Meybauer made them in both single and double side versions, they're believed struck from the Godet tool. An interesting reading on WAF.
Here is a double side example, still looking for a period ribbon for it.

Yeah those bronze gild Meybauer PLMs are pretty nice and scarce definitely worth a separate thread.

Thanks for the information, that makes it a pretty scary fake!
Detailed pics are still there before ebay take them down.

Found this one in my photo archive, sold on eBay many years ago, don't remember how much it went for.
