I hope you have a deactivation certificate with them for a number of reasons.
Especially as you live in UK.
Having once having some one kick what he thought was a dud which turned out to be 155mm WP...on blowing as a blind....as I explained to him...if you don't know what it is...it is to be treated as live.

Best Badge in Socialist Competition
I borrowed this title from AVERs No5 and some badges I have which come under this chapter I will post in this thread.
Any of you guys out there have any...please post.
The badges especially the early ones where expertly done in silver, bronze or silvered bronze, in most cases with some sort of enamel work.
Here is a Best Cartographer circa 1938 with an absolutely exquisite enamel job in silver

The State prize is a simple but robust design made in solid gold...
Although it is less prestigious than the Lenin State prize, it has been issued approx 300 time each year since the 70ties for improvements in productivity..so still pretty hard to get in my books!
This one was awarded for increasing milk production due to the invention of a milking machine!!!!
Darn lucky to get the complete set of documents which also includes the entrance ticket to the award ceremony and a programme which covers 4 days.
Interesting to note that this medal and the award document numbers match...the number on the entrance ticket correspond to a paper number in the medal and document box.
A lot of people think that the award and medal do not have matching numbers...well this may not always be the case and for sure they have been meticulous in insuring that the awardees, medal and doc are tagged to ensure items match.

When Stalin died...he died...quite amazing how his cult of personality was wiped out (ironically it is finding favour with a few now.)
I have few anniversary badges which show his image pre 53....
Chris...(and what the heck it gives me a good excuse to post a few other badges hehe)
