Hello David, GES. is the abbreviation for " by Law" and GESCH. is for "protected". It is not a maker mark or the name of the faktory. I think the Letters in the triagle stand for some thing like german product protection law. It is like "registered trademark", not everbody is allowed to make copies. greetings from grzesny
