Fellow Collectors,
This information is for post # 9 ,the two Al Bakir University Stars. The "Star" on the left is Italian made while the "Star' on the right ( the center disc only ) is Iraqi made. Only the center disc is different the rest of the "Star" is Italian made. Some of the "Stars" have backing plates behind the center disc and some donot. This is my first attempt at replying to a post.

Emergency Crowds were military troops found in Saddam's era after 1991 and related with the Ministry of Interior, and each Iraqi Province had it's own crowd with different emblems. These troops dealt with local emergency situations which may happen in each Province and defend the Province until larger forces arrive. These troops were part of Saddam"s supression devices against the Iraqi people.
