This is an Iraqi Army Shoulder Patch used after 2003.
It is machine made, 3-3/8in. wide and 3-9/16in. high.
Secondly, a picture of an Iraqi Tanker wearing the patch. The picture isn't very clear but neither was the film where I saw it.
Notice he is wearing it on the right arm so the eagle is facing backwards.

Mervyn and Paul R,
Thanks for the comments guys! I'm still above ground so that is the main thing. Our hot weather finally broke up here in Minnesota. We had 39 days of temperatures over 85 degrees and three of them were over 100. I know that is not "hot" in some places or countries but for Minnesota , it's warm. We have had a lot of humidity to go with it.

First up is a 2011, Civil Defence Directorate, EOD and Fire Rescue Arm Large Glazed Badge with Arc.
This badge and arc is made of brass, glazed and the eight sided "patch" has two spring clip fasteners glued on the reverse. The arc only has one.
This badge is 3-15/16 in. from point to point.
The arc is 3-5/8 in long,3/4 in. wide and both are worn on the left arm.
I can't see this badge holding up very long with the fastener only glued on.
Translation above: Civil Defence General Directorate
Right: Extinguish
Left: Rescue
Below: Treatment
The chest badge is made of brass, glazed, 2-1/16 in. from point to point and has a spring pin fastener on the reverse.
The translation is the same as above.

This is a set of Federal Police Command arm. arc and chest patches. These patches have the cut edge, embroidered, sew on type and have a similiar center design as the National Police Command shown on page 1, reply # 13.
The Federal Arm Patches are slightly smaller being 3-3/8 in. wide and 4-3/8 in. high.
The chest patches are 4-13/16 in. long and 1-3/8 in. wide.
Translation on patches and arc -
Ministry of Interior
Federal Police Command.
According to Wikipedia, the Federal Police originated as Special Police starting in 2004.
The name was changed to National Police in March, 2006.
It was renamed to Federal Police on August, 2009.
The Federal Police was a paramilitary organization designed to bridge the gap between the Iraqi Police and Army and is under the control of the Ministry of Interior.

This is an 2011, Iraqi Army Glazed Chest Badge, It is made of plastic, 2-15/16 in. wide, 1-3/8 in. high, glazed and has a spring pin fastener.
The translation on the obverse says "Iraqi Army". It is believed to be for an artillery unit or possibly the Artillery School.
I am still trying to find out more information.
The pictures show the obverse and reverse of the badge.

Bill,
It appears that you have a planchet for a North Vietnamese Victory Decoration and a ribbon for the National Liberation Front on both the samples shown which is incorrect.
If you will look in the South East and East Asia section on page 4, I have a topic called North Vietnamese Badges and Medals and on page 2 in this topic, you will see one sample of the Decoration you have.
If you find the correct ribbon, all you would have to do is change the ribbon for it to be correct.
Edward J Emering's book "Orders, Decorations and Badges of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam" is also a very good reference.
I hope this helps you out.

I like the traffic police brassard! Are there any photos of this in wear?

I picked up this patch at the military show I was at the weekend of April, 21-22. I thought it was possibly for the Red Crescent Society but found out later it was for the Algerian Municipal Police.
It is 3-1/2 in. wide and 4-1/4 in. high. The pictures show the front and back.
I do not have any idea when this patch was used or if it is still being used. If anyone has more information, please post.

Thanks you for the thread. I looked back on different topics to see if I could find anything but didn't go back far enough or look in the correct place. At least I now know it is a reproduction.
