The document is for the 3 classes of the Medals for Irreproachable Service in the KGB, not the Armed forces. In this case, you'll need a set of long-service medals with roman digits on the fron (X, XV and XX).

The box is indeed the original one but ... it is missing the original foam

Unfortunately, the doc you have is not related to the 50 Years Badge.

This doc is for the 3 classes of the Medals for Irreproachable Service in the Armed Forces of the USSR. So, 1920 (1970 -50) is fure fiction there...

our comrade in question seems to be one of Soviet's top-designers or scientists, who started their career during the GPW, as the order shows.

Most prestigious titles: HSL + Stalin-Prize + Lenin-Prize

It seems, that the top-years of his career might have been the 1950s & 1960s .
