I have a similar buckle and original black leather belt to the one on the right. I'll dig it out and attempt to post some pictures,
It was bought from a local Army Surplus store in the early 70's, grey/green with mould and stiff as a board until I treated the leather.
I was told at the time that it was from Franco's forces during the Civil War, but I have no evidence to support this.

I think the foot soldiers are german Jaegers rather than Austrians.

This is an excellent piece! I would recommend you add some rust stains (or were you going for the new out of the factory look?) but other than that its beautiful! All the best, Jon

Would anyone be able to assist in the identification of this award, please? Would it be issued to civilian or military recipients? There is a small fragment of dark, moleskin coloured fabric still attached to the ribbon. Thank you for any assistance.
