    1. Only a note.

The royal crown appears since 1951 with the rules of this year

      1814-1931: Royal crown:

      1931-1939: Mural crown (republic)

1939-1951: Imperial crown (open royal crown)

      1971-to date: Royal crown

Perfecto, Antonio, Pensaba que la corona imperial se hab?a puesto hasta 1975...As? pues la corona "real" puede encontrarse en piezas "Franquistas" desde 1951??

      Gracias

      Miguel

For the shake of non spanish speaking members:

"Perfect, Antonio, I was thinking that the Imperial (open) crown was put in till 1975...So, The royal crown can be finded in "Franco?s" items from 1951???

      Thanks

      Miguel

    2. antonio,

thank you for the link to your interesting site.

Hello: It?s from Spain. A GC & LS award for officers. I can?t tell for sure, but the issue could be contemporary (Looks very new, -mint-) as the "Royal" crown is the same that the crown of issues pre-republican... So pre-1930, after this the medal has the republica or "Mural" crown, and after this in the franco period (1938-1975) the crown was "imperial" (open), to return to the Royal" with the Constituional Kingdom we have now...

    3. this bar, your bar - exactly this bar - once belonged to my collection................................. and as you know I loved bars with names.................. this one had a name too................. and with this bar there came a lot of documents, papers and award documents!!! It seems that now another group has been broken off by some **** people

This bar belonged to a policeman from Leipzig - a Kriminalkommissar !!!

Now the problem............. I don`t have the name anymore because of my lost datas..... :( but I will see what I can do for you.....

      Merry christmas!!!

      Heiko

Very good news...I?m very pleased...!!! :jumping:

Pity that you lost the files. :speechless:

At the auction it was tell that the owner was a "Kripo" member but that the papers are not sell in this auction. I?ask the seller but the only paper that comes with are that of Detlev Niemann "expertize", that identified the medals as corresponding...

      Great anyway Heiko!!

      Thanks a lot

    4. For 1914-18, yes--Roth's Autengruber Band X, 1997 now gone out of print. I've never heard of one for 1870-71, but I suppose it is or was out there.

We will be re-working the Saxon volumes done by the late Erhard Roth in Perfect Krause Format at some point down the line, but there are so many NEVER published rolls still "in the works" that 2nd editions have to wait. There aren't enough hours in the day.

Meanwhile, I think when you get this medal bar, you will find that it did NOT have a Polizei Cross on it and it will be a simple matter to fix it with those clip in and out black suspenssion hooks to put in a CORRECT 25 Years Treudienst.

Really...??I?ll be very happy If I can mad this without truble...

The list on the St. Heinrich will be great...If I can Got it.

Thanks Rick, You?re a friend

    5. VERY blurry scans, so I cannot see all the details. The side with the Soviet seal will show how old it is by how many national slogan ribbons for each republic are there--

8 on the left, 1 on the bottom, 7 on the right would be 1946-56

      7-1-7 would be 1956-91.

      That side says

"Put the plans of the Party into practice!"

Impossible to read what it says to the left upper corner from Lenin's head. Underneath it says:

      "Challenge/competition Banner

      for the highest figures

      in socialist competition"

I have a nice little red velvet pennant with gold fringes and a big hammer and sickle on one side. On the other side it says

"For the best milk maid" :cheeky:

      These guys are incredibles!!!!

Tell me...the banner could be an Item of interest: Dimensions: 125x90. Price: 125?. It?s expensive...??

Thanks Rick. Too: a commemorative badge for the leton Guards?? I?m sending a Pic

    6. FAM is bronze?

I am sure its not possible to ID the owner. Medal of the St. Henry is awarded more then 9500 times during the 1840-1918 period and its just for the NCO-s. There can be lots of them, who worked in the police after on. So, what you know - your bar owner was a Saxony Gefreiter or Unteroffizier during WW1 and after the war worked in the police (TR period).

Now what I am not 100% sure and I hope someone can tell me, if I am wrong:

      - LS award he got probably after the war for the WW1 period service in the front....

Probably before the 1935 Saxony St. Henry medal and FAM was mounted before the EK2 on the bar but new rules in the TR moved EK2 to the front and Hindenburg was added before the LS awards...

Anyway, its very very great bar to have! St. Henry medal is probably one of the nicest award for a NCO-s I think :jumping:

I hope Rick and another skilled members can add lots of extra information here to you! :cheeky:

Thanks. I?m very pleased, because I?ve longtime after a St Heinrich medal. Yes, the FAM is in Bz

      Regards

    7. Is a Spanish auction, In this case I must asume that the "maker" is a Perezenstein or Martinezenstein "au lieu" of Frankenstein...No german Frankenstein could make this flagrant impossibility...of two EK2 :speechless::speechless1:

      regards

      Miguel

I?m ask Daniel . By the way I ask you the same thing, I?ve just got a Bar with EK2/StHeinrichS.med/FAmedBz/EhK/LD12yearsBzsach/TRGoldcross(politzei)...Do you think it?s searchable???

      Reagrds

      Miguel

I can?t send you a pic from the bar Because I?m in 24 hours service at the Hospital...(i?ll try to send you the sellers Pic)

      Regards...

      PS/

    8. I would not be in a rush. There's no shortage of EK1's on the market from loose and dingy right up to mint, cased & boxed never seen the light of day. A better approach would be to decide the maxi,u, you're willing to pay for an example and then try and find the very best one you can. Always collect condition and rarity first (IMO)

It is better to have 1 fantastic cross than a couple dozen mediocre or poor condition ones.

      that?s sensible. ;)

      thanks

      miguel

    9. hola miguel,

this set looks ok to me. now, there are a couple of things which dictate price/value: rarity and condition. this maker is one of the most common, and the condition is not perfect. same for the box.

unfortunately, i do not know what the current market price is--perhaps another member can help you with that.

i feel that you are doing the correct thing by asking before buying; especially if you have not so much experience.

      eric

Now, is already at 200 USD at 16 hours to end the auction...

?? It?s expensive, is cheap???. Some member can sell one good piece...?

      Thanks

      Miguel

    10. Only someone of "Lord Ashcroft(ish)" wealth ....

In other words .. some .. errr .. uh hum ... certain people from the Motherland ...

Think you that some diplomatic action will be taken by the russian gov. officials????, to forbid to sell this portion of the glorious history of the motherland...????? :cheeky::cheeky:

      Miguel

    11. Hi Miguel,

The Polish medal it MEDAL OF VICTORY AND FREEDOM (Medal Zwyciestwa i Wolnosci 1945).

      Roman

With the dark photo the ribbon is the cue. Of course you has reason: but see as I ?ve say before...

Anyway the seniority medal for service to the polish republic was a pre-communist award, restaured in 1998, I think...

      regards

      Miguel
