    1. Hello !

Brunswick war merit cross for women, OEK 636 ("Kriegs-verdienstkreuz f?r Frauen und Jungfrauen"). You don't have the good ribbon.

      Created 1917 september, 13th.

I don't know how were awarded... Not a lot of I think, because the cross has been created only 1 year before end of war...

Here, with the right ribbon :

      Thanks, PinPon, Great...Merci Beaucoup

    2. While sorting through a ziplock with about 10 tinnies and other assorted Imperial & European pins in it ...I found these Oaks. They do have nice detail but ..I can't lock them in.

I was thinking along the lines of Imperial ...what's interesting is I posted these and Bob Hritz posted a matching set that he bought with a group of Imperial Awards.

Have any of you seen this style before ?

Dont forget the Z?hringen Lion order with oaks...

all of you are working every day on saving history, restoring groups, collecting data and information - a worldwide military collecting network against the time in order to keep a long gone time living!!!! And then there are people like this........................

Some days ago I sold the medal bar and buttonhole mini of Zeug-Major a.D. Fuhr on ebay.de , that`s what it looked like some days ago in my house....

When I see the emasculated bar I was thinking I?ve it seen before...It?s a shame...but you can not control the things when they go out of your reach or control. So, bit the teeth and...

      Sorry again

Thanks Stogieman, I was puzzled with the possibility thet they could exist a FAM wit swords on the ring, or so...Thanks again, of course I?ve see this in a auction of only Boxes...

    5. MUCH rarer, as those of you who have bought the awards rolls books will know.:ninja:

BTW, I am still "tweaking" absolutely PRECISE numbers of lovely chocolate bronze versus decent gray zink by groups whose recipients can be identified and matched to the rolls. So far the first verified zinky recipient was Oberstleutnant Georg Schmidt, commander of Inf Rgt 82, on 9 July 1917.

That?s great. Thanks for your work...
