    1. Because the 1971+ M.V.R. medals have periods after the initials, maybe the M.V.R. with periods medals and pre-1971 coat of arms came AFTER the plain "MVR" ones with the pre-1971 coat of arms?

      So--- ?

      FIRST pre-1971 MVR

      THEN pre-1971 M.V.R.

      FINALLY post-1971 M.V.R.

      ?

Across the ocean here we see Ministry of Interior medals from before 1971-- but I have not seen a single military one from before 1971!!!

      Hi.

Correct will be this variant for the Ministry of Interior affairs

      First pre-1971 M.V.R.

      Then pre-1971 MVR

      Finally post-1971 new coat M.V.R.

    2. Hi Petr, correct he is wearing both a Soviet and Bulgarian Honored Worker Badge. I was not aware that the Soviet "eggs" were handed out to foreigners as well... Very interesting photographs Christer!

Rick R. Note the general's ribbon bar!

As i know it was normal situation when the high officers from the socialistik countrys were awarded with soviet "eggs".....

    3. And the most rare service medals - KDS. The most interesting is that the most rare from them is 10 years service. There is version that only this medal was awarded to recepients. And after that (15, 20 years i mean) the members of KDS received medals for the MVR. Thats way this medal exist only with old coat. It was some kind of masking for the peoples who served in KDS.

Thats way on the market exist some amount of non-awarded items for 15 and 20 years in KDS and so small amount of 10 years service.....

    4. Hi everybody. First of all i want to say thanks to Anatoly because he take in his hands the debates about?fakes?(copyes)?or?not?fakes?this?awards?are?and?spend?some?of?his?time?to?

      prove?that?some?

      of?awards?are?not?normal.....

I want to tell a small story from my collection life. In about 4 years ago i visit very beautifull poland city Krakov. Of course as a collector (my thematic is all socialistic period) i find military-antique shop which was specialised in orders and medals. Really i was shocked!!!! On the walls i find a great amout of ALL poland socialistiс period awards. For example Grunwald order 1 class i find in about 8-10 items. I find in this shop Virtuti military?orders all?classes in quantity.?All poland medals in ideal conditions were on the

      walls.?So?if?i?have?money?i?will?close?my?collection?of?poland?awards?in?1?day.?

      But?it?will?be?not?collection?

      of?original?items,?it?will?be?the?collection?of?fakes?and?copyes.?

As i know in modern Poland exist some small manufactures in which all awards of soc and pre-war oland produced for sale........Today the high wave of this "awards" come to Moscow. In Moscow faleristik club you can purchase for small money many very rare Poland awards. But?all the sellers honestly say that this awards, are fakes or modern copyes.......

So you can believe, can not believe but situation with Poland theme is very difficult. Some times you can?say?for?sure original?this?poland item?or?not?original?only?because?of?you?collectors?experience.?

      Thanks everybody.

      P.S.

Please Kris tell - are you really think that you Virtuty that was discussed in this topik is original?

    5. Hi. I want to say my opinion. I have not bad collection of poland awards, and stoped to collect them when i understund how many fakes, copys, modern produced items exist on the market. Its very difficult to purchase 100% original items....

My opinion that on the first page (communist era) first Virtuti military is fake, Grunwald order 1,2 classes is fakes......sorry. If you put good scans maybe more fakes or copies will appeared......

    6. And here is the quite rare certificate, this medal was awarded to a Woman named Zsra Borisova Dintjeva (did I get that right?)

And if I translate the town right it should be Pazardzhik ? a town in south east of Bulgaria

      Christer

Absolutely right! But the name should be Zora and lust name Dincheva......

      Very rare document.......My congratulations.

What concern bag - of course this is not offcicial item. Its modern thing.....
