    1. The first thing this morning I woke to your posts ...and it made my day. You guys are great ! I was hesitant to post his items because, they are not rare or from the 1800's or anything ....but after reading all of your posts , I'm glad I did. Thanks He really wanted to be with me for my 3d but ...I took my 3d in California (Burbank #406) and he was living in Florida at the time ...but that didn't stop him from mailing a box full to the WM with a ring,Bible and many other items that they presented me with. I wish he could have been there ...in many ways , he was.
    2. Thanks ..I'm glad you liked them. I've never seen a watch like that either but , it had to be a production face on it. He wore that watch everyday ...he was so proud of being a Mason. I have his 50 year pin too. I was thinking of having it restored but , not sure who or where.
    3. I was just going through a few things and found my Dad's Blue Lodge items , and thought I'd share them with you. He passed 2 years ago , he really loved the Craft ...and was thrilled when I finally took my 3d. Anyway , hope you like the pictures --
    4. Thanks Paul ...I didn't expect to get 2 in one deal but , I'm not complaining. When I set them up next to each other ...all I could think of was the singing heads from Disney's Haunted Mansion ! If these 2 do a barbershop duet at 2am ...I'm in trouble
    5. I wonder what the deal was with the Goering Bronze ..did he give them as gifts ? Or , has anyone seen one in any period photos in a Luft Admin Office ? There must be fewer of them made than the Hitler Heads ....any ideas ?
    6. They just came in today and they are in great codition. The Hitler head was missing the base so ..I mounted it on this wood base until I can find a good picture of what it had originally. It's signed by "Ferdinand Liebermann " ..a little larger than life size. The Goering Head is not signed but the detail is great ..it's a little smaller than Adolph , guess he didn't want any problems
    7. Thanks Joe ...I stand corrected wasn't Quayle the one who moved to Idaho ? I always mix those Politicians up ..guess I don't pay as much attention to them as I should
    8. Thanks guys ...I think this is the next best thing to having a bunch of collectors over for coffee , being able to share items like this. I'm glad Dan Quale invented the Internet
    9. It always seemed strange having that Postal style Eagle but ...that's how it came. Maybe a transitional thing ? Maybe a Vet added it ? Who knows
    10. It almost has that WW1 look to it ..smaller crown , lone cockade
    11. Hi Paul ...here's my early one. I've never been able to find another example with this style Eagle and the RB winged pin. Someday I'm sure more info will come to light. It still has the paper size tag attached ..and never had a chin strap. The liner and sweatband are pretty frail but ..the overall condition is still nice and clean.
    12. I'd imagine more like a Platform director ..keeping an eye on Trains loading and unloading . If you had a ticket and a problem ..that red top would be easy to spot ...and complain to " But ..My ticket should be for Metz ..NOT MINSK !! "
    13. Thanks Joe ...the background wasn't exactly planned (sorry about that) my room is kinda small. Sorta gives a 3D effect though
