      Seems that you are correct. I found this web site with the same button on it. http://www.diggerhistory2.info/graveyards/...tk-uniforms.htm I am a Civil War collector so this button is of no interest to me. Is Ebay the best way to sell something like this, or is it even worth listing?

      I recently bought this button (see attached) identified by Record of AMERICAN UNIFORM and Historical Buttons Bicentennial Edition by Alphaeus H. Albert as an America's Civil War Louisana Crescent Regiment button. The maker's mark is A.U. Wein. I have since been told that it is actually Ottoman. Can anyone help me with an ID?
