Oh, thanks! One of my favorites too. I won't bother posting my unnumbered medal, but will add the document associated with it (I choose my words carefully!).
Document (#114930) to Ilona Iosifovna Ganchich (female), 14 May 1977

OK, OK, these aren't for killing fascists and, therefore, lack some of the excited interest of the military awards! But I maintain that they, too, are an important part of the everyday, pragmatic, "normal" reality of the CCCP.
A pair to Yury Vol'vin:
Order of Labor Glory, 2nd class - 42440
Order of Labor Glory, 3rd class, var. 2 - 356334

Document 2, part 2 - probably too late to research this group (at present)

Wonderful group, Ed. The Red Banner of Labor, is that a reissue? The serialnumer is still in the range of screwback-types.
Gerd
Yes, current theory is that it is a reissue. Not marked as a duplicate, but you are correct on the serial number range. The Research Master has my plea before him.
Best guess is something to do with military supply.

But you should avoid to put it in sunlight. If possible, hang it in a shadowy area of the room.
Gerd
Yes, that'll bleach out the document in a year or so. (Not to mention the ribbons!) Sunlight is evil!!

Document, the second interesting part. Research, so far, has been silent. Hopes remain alive. It is early enough that there may be some hope.

Document, the first interesting part (no photo!) -- can someone help with full name please:

Paul, thats the russian word for "Duplikat"
And it isn't the normal way of marking a duplicate award (see McDaniel and Schmitt, pp. 377-84). Very unusual. And, to my novice eyes, a cause for concern. Am I right in feeling that way?

15.5.73-3.6.74 Representative of Supreme Commander of the Combined Armed Forces for Command of the Army in the Czechoslovakian National Army
Makes me wonder if his mystery final medal is Czech, but who knows . . . ?? Doesn't match anything I can find.

See . . .
Has something fallen off??

Which Academy badge is that? I can't read what it says on the shield.
Oops, somehow I missed your question. Sorry. The answer is easy: blank. Whazzat mean??
Unless someone helpes me with the badges, I shall post each, individually . . .

Sorry about breaking into your posting, Ed.
No problem at all. In fact, I like the way that our conversational enthusiasm overlaps and interwines.
That is a beautiful bar! I like the Afgan Border medal! (I hope that I have correctly IDed that one)
Yes, that is it. While there is MUCH variability on the proper ribbon. This one is, I think incorrect, but seems to have been more popular among Soviet recipients. It was this medal -- and some of the higher trinkets too
-- that attracted my attention. While my "head" tells me "fake", my "heart" wants it otherwise. There is a certain plausibility to the group, but only if he was a fairly senior KGB border type (and, therefore, not a candidate for easy research -- though I have tried, and come up empty -- it remains on my "open research" list with The Master).

And another one mounted, this one halal, from the Kravchenko group, see:
