Does anyone have readily at hand the reference materials to say to whom Hero Star #4107 was awarded? Thae name in both Roman and Cyrcillic would be nice, if possible. Thanks.
You'll see later why I ask.

To break the deafening silence here:
Two recently arrived documents.

-- What are these documents??
-- Other wisdom??
I know with Rick imprisoned in the parallel universe of German scribbles, he may not respond. I hope someone does. Thanks in advance.

The "science project" aside, pics would be nice.

How very sad. I'd start with the dealer. (I assume it is a reliable dealer?)

Looking carefully at the decoration spoor on the (his) right, you may get a clue what was there originally. There should be some indications on the left of how many items (loose or bar-mounted? probably loose?), though they may be very hard to see. Think forensic sciences?

And helping to rebuild the German industry for making war toys. Not to mention his general political and racial sympathies.

I had meant to say "BRONZE version apart from RoP." I got distracted.
What my ever-delicate teenaged daughter calls a "brain fart". I prefer to consider it a "senior moment". Happens to us all.

Clasps certrainly WERE awarded for the bronze China 1900 medal. Only the RELIEF OF PEKING clasp and it is not at all uncommon.
This to "Grass Cutter Tirkha 1st Bl Lcrs".

Wish I knew. Out of my territory. It is my sense that this particular example was an officer's star (as opposed to what the enlisted personnel received). As I recall, it sold well (WELL) into five figures (pounds).
