congratulations! that's a RARE example. i have a coupla similar ones marked with the mysterious square punch. as micha mentions, the core is slightly different.
ooooh, does anyone remember the time an item was posted for sale on his site and you could see the photographer's NAKED body reflected in the item? eeeew! :speechless1:
enzo, josef, and charles i will take clear pics of the marks as soon as the batteries for my camera are recharged. i will also-at some point- start another thread showing a 2nd class w/k.d. (neck decoration) cheers, all!
the two loops are joined so they cannot swivel (one piece). there are two marks: one at 6'oclock and one at 9 o'clock. here is left mark. sorry for poor pic quality. did not want to damage ribbon.
thank you for the insights, gentlemen! my uncle told me the creature on the side of the ring was a serpent. he said that it had something to do with asia during the turn of the century. anyhow, i have a few further masonic items somewhere (all related to seattle from the 1890s thru the 1930s) and will post them as they turn up.
hi paul, went to try and get a pic of the screen for you but i think i did something wrong when i moved the tv. the turntable and am radio works fine but now fm doesn't and tv screen won't light up. my buddy is gonna come over and mess with it and try to get it going again.
no, total expenditures for all that stuff last week was $35. the tv and 27-drawer cabinet were free. i just had to haul them away. and i almost threw my back out doing it. what you see of the china is all i got--prolly some vet's mini collection as all marks are different.
