Hello and merry christmas
Longobardo, I think similar ones where regularly present in Kriegsmarine units like U-Boats at the end of the war. For example in the radio room of U-995 Museum Laboe you can recognized it.

Hello Gary
I payed for a Kieninger Obergfell navy brass clock 700 euro and for other one 200 euro last year (pirvete purchase), but prices in european auctions are if I remember correctly around 1000/1500 euros, with preserved eagle and swastika

Hello
I found recently what seems to be an old photographical reproduction (pre 1945?) from Lothar Guenther Buchheim portrait of Funkmaat Kurt Schrobach, U96. 1941
Rear is Mai 1941 handwriten and one unreadable german name
Any related references or informations about pre 1945 photographical reproductions concerning Bucheim U 96 drawings are welcome

Hello Hinrik
I only know the Siemens& Halske most common UBoat telephone sets:
there is a fixed model (see image) and also a handset (Notfall Fernsprechanlage) with 2 connected headphones with a similar headphone model a connection kit and 2 dinamos(see device in 2nd image).
I have somewhere a german navy technical document on Uboat telephones with drawings. I will try to locate and reproduce it in a new post.
Hope this helps
regards
Alex

Hello Hinrik
You are right, it?s the U 995. I forget this photo. I was in Laboe 2 years ago taking photos. The wall clock is the Junghans Kriegsmarine ship?s clock (images in Knirim (2002) page 186.

Good afternoon gentlemens,
Hinrik, concerning your question I am not sure of my right concerning posting of images in books. The clock in your image is reproduced in Knirim, Konrad (2002): Milit?ruhren/Military timepieces, Verlag Peter Pomp, Bottrop-Essen page 287.
Also a pic of the U 124 radio room is there to be seen:
Message station of U 124: The oficer has a KM wrist watch, left at the wall is a small Junghans clock J30E with chromed bezel.
Image below (Knirim collection):
Submarine wall clock Junghans cal J30D with big dial and 8 days movement and the smaller version with Junghans J 30D
Another pic of U 2518 radio room, page 281, shows the Kieninger & Obergfell wall watch near a 40 watt Lo 40K39 transmitter
I think your watch is the Junghans J30D or a very similar version
hope this helps
best regards

Hello Longobardo,
Some interesting links. First one concerning the other Kriegsmarine ship?s clock: Kieninger Obergfell. The second one Bundesmarine version of the Junghans wall clock, with general design preserved from the WWII version.
