    2. Yes I understand your sense. Technical artifacts are maybe not so generally apreciated by collectors. Also I think this kind of items where not considerered so valuable to be preserved in traditional militaria collectors mentality. So most of this kind of things have disapeared.     3. Thank you very much guenther as far as I know, having ask abou it in other forums,it is an auxiliary diesel spare box. Probably from a surface ship, not u-boat related. If interested in his origin it was found in a great military dealer in catalonia Spain,some years ago, which has also some german 8,8 cannons remaining from spanish civil war regards A.

My knowledge on navy engines beeing really reduced,this huge spare parts box coming from the Kriegsmarine Arsenal Kiel to my collection, is not yet correctly identified.I got it from seller with the description U-boat auxiliary engine spare parts box.     5. If I see more from this type of navy voltmeters I will let you know. They are to be found regularly in german ebay as Kriegsmarine Messinstrument or something similar. By the way frites are really expensive in your country kindly regards from Spain
    6. Hello guenther thank you for your visit and comments. Concerning the KM voltmeters, I got regularly this kind of artifacts, they are cheap and not really scarce. I payed aprox 20 to 50 euros for each. best regards Alejandro

    12. Hello all I got recently a U-boat original inventory from U-874 dated 1944. (Allgemeine Gerätesoll) I found between the china inventory green circles dishes indicated to be used in the Oberfeldwebel table service and brown circle dishes to be used in officers table service. I know there are other Kriegsmarine porcellain with different colours like red circles or others. Are those other types related to different use? Is this use known? I couldn´t find any Kriegsmarine china classification related to colour. Any help would be of great value. Hello I hope could be of some interest to share this not achieved work in this impressive forum: an old project, this U-boat interior display with some original items and mostly reconstructed or recreated interior furnitures. Only the commanders bunk is an original recuperated in Brest Uboat bunker and the display: commander`s quarters, radio room and control room images in the project blog: Uboat interior project blog best regards Alex

    20. You are right Paul It seems to be an event painting. Maybe also the harbour entry could be recognize? It will be interesting a research in Uboat operations records and prices taken in german ports by this Uboat type, if these records are preserved. The boat looks like the U 31-37 series Germania Werft, if I am correct. regards Alejandro
