Here are more badges from my collection. In my opinion all of them are original, but just to be sure and sleep well, I want to ask for your opinion. The red enamel looks a little bit dark in the scans.

So the main "event" will be from thursday to saturday? That sounds good. I would keep sunday for a relaxed trip home and wouldn't do any long walks there. Maybe a short visit to some monuments to make pics or whatever. And don't make the group larger than 4 or max. 5 persons! Don't make the routes too long, especially when you are with people who are there the first time. You will need much longer than expected. Believe a "Verdun-veteran" with already 16 visits (one of them in "feldgrau")

Is it possible to get more informations about the participants of this trip?

In my opinion this is a fake. It lacks a lot of details you can see on the badge in Herfurths DDR-book. The enamel looks like dried blood or whatever...

It has got a crest maybe for a Colonial or Muslim regiment with "1916".

Hun Helmet: Thats because the rifle can be sold for decoration only to everyone with the min. age of 18 years. Otherwise you need a gun licence for it.
