I think this would be a nice one to research, or?

I didn't meant this offending or anything like that. If you feel like that, please accept my apology.
Were not a colony anymore Jens...We don't use any "UK weapons", unless you call the MP5 or Browning Hi-Power a UK weapon...

Finally, after a long discussion about the re-institution of the Iron Cross in the BRD, our president decided to create a bravery award for the Bundeswehr, but not the Iron Cross:

The cord is always made from aluminium and the disc is made from hollow stamped brass with a bronze, silver or gold plating. They never used plastic! Have you got pics of it?

Interesting badges! What is the normal price for a Sen'sho class badge?

Very interesting! Do you use any more "non-UK weapons"?

Great pics, especially the one in which you can see the flying mortar round.
I am surprised to see, that you use austrian weapons like the Steyr AUG.

Not to forget our "Einsatzmedaille der Bundeswehr" with "ISAF"-clasp.

Should be one of the first ones. Maybe this one was awarded for a WW1 Silver Citation Star?
It is maker marked "BBB Co Phila." = "Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia" and got the serial number "18801":

The medal itself may be interesting due its unique ribbon and its path back into history, but awarding a medal for being shot at is, in my opinion, completely crazy, as the most US awards are nowadays. Its just too much ribbons and medals for almost nothing, except some of the serious ones like the MoH, Silver Star, DSC etc. They begin like we in WW1, as the Iron Cross 1914 moved from a gallantry award into a "War Commemoration Cross" because of just too many handed out for almost nothing.
