All,
I was wondering if someone in the military received this order, did they receive the military division of it? More specifically, if it was received for war service, either gallantry or in the case of military leaders, outstanding leadership in war, instead of for length of service in peacetime. This would also include non-Belgians.

Karel Hora
in France
All,
Does anyone know what type of citations Karel Hora received for his Croix de Guerre. In Geoffrey Bogga's La Legion!, it states that he received 7 or his CdG TOE, 5 for his CdG 39-45 and 2 for his CV. Just curious if these were palms or stars?

Is there a list of recipients out there? I've seen a breakdown by nationality, but not much else.

Saschaw,
Thanks for the reply. Dovre might be found as Graf D'Auvray or something like that. He was in Russian service during the Napoleonic Wars. Hope you are able to find him.

All,
Over on the Werhmacht forum there is an old thread that references a garrison official with a MVK among others. The man was Garrisonsverwaltungoberinspektor Seichter in 1900 and he was a recipient of the GMVK. Since this was before WWI and he was not one of the colonial MVK recipients, wouldn't this mean he was one of the 16 MVK recipients from 1866? Please let me know.

Thanks Bernhard for all the help.
All,
I understand that there was one person that held the following combination: SH3, SHgm, SHsM.
My question, how many SH3, SHgM recipients were there?

Josef,
Do you have statistics as to how many MVK2's were awarded in total and how many went to non-Austro-Hungarian personnel?

All,
Did Ernst II of Saxe-Altenburg, Carl Eduard of SCG, and Wilhelm Ernst of Saxe-Weimar receive the Saxon Order of St. Henry? Also did any other Saxon dukes receive it?

Rick,
I am wondering if you could clarify something. I have seen references to the Albrechtsorden Grand Cross and Grand Cross with golden star, both with and without swords. Was this a higher class and are there separate award numbers?
