    1. Thank you for your thoughts, guys. I figured the recipient probably wouldn't be able to be identified, but I thought I'd try just in case. :)

Emanuel, that narrows it down a bit. Is there a specific time frame the non-magnetic type FA crosses were manufactured, or were they made at the same time as the magnetic types?

Late war, some says that are also Private purchases, but for sure, they are more rare than their "Iron" brothers like from mm Bernh. Knauer for example

    2. I still do not like this one bagde, but thanks for pointing out that style DID exist in the 30s.

I neither like (at least) Emanuel's 2nd example. Those are frequently on eBay.de, offered by the same guy(s) selling dozens of FAKE clasps for China, South West Africa medal, Colonial medal and now even Kyffh?user medals... all "from old stock"...

      :banger:

      Hi there,

Well, not mine, I just pull them out from my Pic Data collection to show as I said the basic form of these badges.

I forgot if it's from Ebay.De, might be but for sure these NWB are too overpriced now to purhcase one and reckon Rick's stories that you could buy some 20 years ago for a few bucks a couple of them.

There were stores in Germany with not able to sell them to knowone,I don't know why, they are not ugly or something, maybe people didn't knew what they was for, no other explanation about this fenomenon back then....

    3. I have to say that I never saw a piece like yours and I do not like the device at all, Pin and catch are far from WW 1 pieces but the front also lack from the basic form.

Can you tell us also the price that you purchase it?It is vital as a seller will try to give it away in a 50% less price sometimes, its common this attitude you know..

Anyway, here are some pictures to compare:

    4. Thank you Sasa,

just for you I made a shooting today as the weather was great for it.

SERBIA-YUGOSLAVIA KINGDOM - ORDER OF SAINT SAVA -Huguenin mm

Astonishing, MINT quality as you see from the photos below, this St.Sava Order from the Kingdom of Serbia and later Yugoslavia.

Made by Huguenin from Switzerland in mint condition with Gold finish.

I might let it go this in the future, I don't know, but it's one of the best Orders I ever had....

      Enjoy the pics ;)

    5. Hi there.

are you sure the position of the French order is at 3rd place?

I do not know the ribbon of this order and it might belong to 5th place as red ribbon and that 3rd position was often covered by "Milos Obilic" for Bravery medal.

Yes you can say, Medal before Order?

Well, I saw some Serbian medal bars that doesn't follow that rule...

    6. Greetings dcollect my friend,

the 1st one is Medal of I Balkan GREEK-TURKISH WAR -1912 when Greece was in war against Turkey.

Greece back then free lands and territories with Greek population like Macedonia,Thesally, Epirus and several islands of the Agean sea.

Your medal is with proper original ribbon.

The 2nd one is from II Balkan GREEK-BULGARIAN War-1913 when Greece fought Bulgaria with Allies like Serbia and Rumania.

The ribbon is original but not the right one for this medal, this medal has the same ribbon as the above medal but instead of red, has green strip in the middle.

The ribbon you got is original from WW2 and from the Military Star WW2 1941-45 First type (with the crown)

The 3rd one is Order, GREEK Order of the Phoenix from Greek Kingdom Era with proper original ribbon.

Hope it helps you somehow ;)
