And if anyone decides to look for the full sized version?
Uh... don't waste your time.
The TRULY thing about having the Detmold rolls published will be the Awful Reality of the numbers RETURNED.
Well, I was a long time among an elected group of people at an auction in Frankfurt. I remember George Seymour and Eric Ludvigsen being there, too. My very first encounter.
that auction had a real sword on ring piece. One out of three

But those could have all been returned a long time ago. Since everything on there seem to have been piece type decorations....0

I hope he does not mind:

Then the RAO3Sch could be one of these scarce pieces in silver gild or is it a pre 1916 produced and re-awarded golden cross?
Regards, Komtur.
It is a golden cross.

Another not so common decoration:

This bar has come up before... someplace... sometime. I can remember Bernd explaining that a BMV3X REPLACED a BMV4XmKr when both were awarded for 1914-18, as here-- which I did not know before.
Andreas-- have you got this medal bar now? We've got lots of information-- just haven't been posting it if the bar is "out there" still in an unknown person's hands.
OK, ok, guilty as charged. I should have it in hands this coming week.

Thank you Andreas. Do you have a nice picture of the MVO, too?
I. or II. Seebataillon, now it is getting weird.

Does anybody knows which battle clasps are on it?0

I'm amazed they are not in the usual black tin named storage case. From the apparently immaculate condition, the case must just have been thrown away very very recently.
There is actually a very nice leather case with brass hardware that fits this set!

Wow, that is unusual, Andreas. That went to Barry at eMedals, did it not?
Correct!

That is a very good observation. Certainly the same typewriter, yet it is still the same division, so that this would make sense!
The ink color is different, too.
Too bad there are no rolls on those awards.
It would certainly be amazing if this is real !
