Very nice bar. The caucasus medal really makes it look good, (I have a thing for campaign medals). If it weren't for the vienna medal I don't think I would have bought mine haha.
Hope You will get some good research results on it.

Just think of the dcades and decades that your medal bar was worn with pride. There's a life story there!
That's why I like them old and worn.
But I don't know if I will research it yet. Maybe in the future.
If You have bars like this not posted yet please do post them. It would be interesting to se them.
Thanks
Erik

This is my first group. Even though it is undocumented I believe it is an original group. The wear is just perfect, looks like it never even had its ribbons changed once. The suspension has worn through much of the ribbon. It is no longer possible to open the pin.

It looks a lot like an old amusement park. I remember it was hard to find it. Spent a lot of time trying to find my way through a maze of t-shirts and other stuff. But somehow I did find it. I think one way to find it is to look for a windmill.

Hi, Dear Erik
This serial number ought to be the award number, but you know the documentation of North Korea is hard to research now.
Tang Si
Perhaps it will be possible in the future.
The reason why I'm asking is that many Mongolian and North Korean awards have very low numbers. If I would buy a Soviet order with such a low number it would be very expensive. But these are not.

Great pictures! Interesting to se some variations.
A bit off topic maybe but what is the serial number for? Is it like Soviet orders and medals? Stored in some kind of archive and connecting the recipient to a specific order?

ok, Thanks

Thank You all for the kind replies. I'm really happy to have one but even after holding one in my hands I still think that the Sacred treasure is the order which has the best design. The old fourth class in the last picture is still my favourite.
Paul, thank You for that information. Do You know how many Meiji era awards can be found in relation to taisho era? The sword has a rather dark green colour, would this indicate that it is from the taisho era?

At last! I managed to get a nice order. It is worn, just as I want it.
The previous owner repaired the enamel on the top arm, otherwise it is just a bit dirty, not much enamel damage. The ball which the ribbon ring goes through looks like it could have been repaired though...
I was told that it was found in a soldiers war souveniers and that he had served in the Philippines. I probably have his name too. The seller wasn't sure.

There is a very faint 1 after the serialnumber, isn't it? What could it be or is it just my monitor?

No-- he only served for about 4 years-- 2 as a draftee in the 1920s and then at the end of the war.
Do you HAVE his Red Star??? After what he got his Glory for ... WOW, would THAT be interesting to find out!!!!!!
Unfortunately I don't have anything else, only his glory and the research for it. I will probably research his red star. I'll update this thread when I know more.
Time for some sleep

I wonder if his Red Star has an interesting citation... It can't be a long service award, can it?
