FAKE Port Authur Officers badge

Cast One piece. poor details, Poor quality enamel work, Lettering not sharp.

Solid Silver Doctors badge..Has silver proofs.Cast into badge and back plate NOT stamped as should be.

Looks good, but detail and marks give it away..

Great piece. I dont see any problems with it.

The cross itself is unique to the Kulm cross.

I have seen different Reg. examples with the extra holes..

I think these were drilled and used to sew the cross to the uniform,

This would keep it from spinning in the Hole..

As Rick states, The maker of the backing plate is Eduard.

And mismatched with a later screw nut..

Staff-Captain Rudakovskii is awarded the medal of the All-Russian Union of Zemstvos (local councils) for caring for sick and wounded soldiers.

Attested by the Chairman of the Committee for the Southwest Front, Actual State Councilor -----signature.

(Actual State Councilor - civil official rank equal to a military general)

(Local Zemstvo councils took up all sorts of homefront activities during the war - nursing, aid to soldiers' families, bond drives, etc.)

IX - XVIII various Medals use these.

The Award ribbon is a type IX worn on the Medal for the Turkish War of 1877-78.

Maybe others Ill have to look this one up.
