    1. Hello Lorenzo,

I like to say thanks for that informative news.

      It`s a fake I learned!

So it´s my first fake than. I swaped with somebody from US - doesn´t matter.

The quality of ribbon is poor.

100 % Polyester and burned for getting some curves bettwen ribbon and medal.

Also there ars some mistakes in the warp from the loom - in the red stripe.

The medal is not magnetic (copper?) and on top

there is some transparent layer which is broken.

So thanks for all you information and help

      Elivs

      Hello Emmanuel,

last week I got this decoration.

      It looks like

      Morocco

The Order of Civil Merit : Ouissam er Rida

but it has one rosett on the ribbon.

Do you know what that could be?

      Thanks

    4. Hello Megan,

      hello Emmanuel,

thanks for your help. You both did a good job for me.

Now I know the colour of the ribbon and the width.

The backside is the double - needle (this is what I am thinking).

It`s now again a pice of the puzzle which I got.

      Thanks

      Elvis

    7. Hallo TacHel,

thanks for your kind answer. rolleyes.gif

You get information from "red eagle" - he is an expert in this field.

I think junker was producing in the 19fifties and 19sixties.

Steinhauer is running with this product from beginng until today (arround 60 years).

Both of them are not able to do it in the same style and color as bevor - during the time period.

Your models are also older than the other ones, but yours are still correct.

The "50"-year items is a bit seldom. Keep it in your collection.

      Thanks for that nice discussion.

    8. Hello everybody,

the correct name of this decoration:

Algeria Medaille de Blesse sans Citation

Adam: The foto is mine - but no problem! 2014.gif

AB is the shortcut of the manufacturer from germany!

Chris: Your answer is also allright

      And please note:

I will sell the hole set in swap area

      Thanks

      Elvis

    9. Hello TacHel,

      thanks for your interest.

I think in case of different suppliers and production-lots (since 60 years), the color is always a bit different if you see 2 items side by side.

The base-color-material, and the way of production has also changed during the times.

The lightnig could be a problem. But the items are a bit different in natural.

So you have good eyes for checking these products. cheers.gif

The official discription of the color is RAL 3000 (should be similar). So this means usual?

      Hope you understand my english.

      Thanks for aour arguments.

      Best regards

      Elvis

Is it the lighting or is the red of the crosses quite darker than usual?

    10. This is the Civic Merit Order with its ribbon.

The colours are matching the colours of the National Flag of Chad (Tchad).

It's still possible to get ribbon with rosette by Arthus Bertrand, but if my memory is correct, the price for a ribbon with rosette is 26 € (Arthus Bertrand as the others manufacturers from Paris is very expensive for the ribbon).A straight ribbon with no rosette could be found elswhere cheaper.

      Hello Emmanuel,

    11. Hello Emmanuel,

I have a set in a green fabric covered box! This box was specialy made for these products.

The shape in the foam are exactly the decorations.

You see the medal regulare size and the ribbon bar.

      Hope you enjoy it.

      Thanks

      Elvis

    12. Hello gents,

this seams to be the "Republique Du Tchad - Merite Civique" Medal.

You see the front side. The back side is only golden.

I am wondering there is no ribbon. Can someone post a image of the ribbon, and how its fixed on the medal?

The diameter is arround 40 mm

      Thanks for your assitance
