    1. Hello gents this is step number 3,

Now I come to the the third-lowest of 8 classes. In international range they call the class -officer-

Das Verdienstkreuz 1, Klasse - Cross of Merit First Class

On the left side you find the ladies items.

      In the middle the miniature.

On the right side you see the decorations for men.

Size of the cross = 47 mm for ladies, or 55 mm for men, by the miniature it is 16 mm.

There is no ribbon for the cross because there is a kind of brooch for fixing.

    5. KFOR Kosovo Force

NATO has been leading a peace support operation in Kosovo since June 1999 in support of wider international efforts to build peace and stability in the area.

Today, over 14 000 troops from the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) are still deployed in Kosovo to help maintain a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all citizens, irrespective of their ethnic origin.

Following the declaration of independence on 17 February 2008, the Alliance reaffirmed that KFOR shall remain in Kosovo on the basis of UN Security Council Resolution 1244, unless the United Nations Security Council decides otherwise. In June 2008, NATO agreed to take on new tasks in Kosovo to support the development of professional, democratic and multi-ethnic security structures,

The german law gives us the posibilty to be one more year there.

Hope this post was useful for you.

    7. Hi to all collectors,

here you see the NTM - IRAQ (Nato Trainings Mission Irag)

regular size medal and ribbon bar in a box.

I think, that only a few soldiers get this set.

Did somebody knew the quantity of soldiers who serve the NTM-Iraq?

When was that special training started?

      Please let me know.

      Thanks

    8. Hi Friends,

Nowadays it is nearly impossible, to wear the medals in original size. According our armed forcel regulations there are only a handful occasions to wear fullsize dec. Otherwise only a few people let their medals mount in the proper style. A German medal bar costs quite a lot of money.

Thats why You can nearly never see one. This ones at eBay and at dealers are more or less make-ups for display or for collectors.

Usually You can wear ribbon bars or miniature bars on the evening dress. BTW, there are no limitations how many dec. You can wear.

      Best regards

      Daniel

      Hello Daniel,

I live in germany too. I am in touch with these special things.

      Ribbon bars:

You are right "no limit about the quantity"

In the first row (in center) you have to wear speical things (40 mm wide like the Bundesverdienstkreuz - Order of Merit) - if you got it.

In the follwing row(s) you can wear other decorations.

      All rows are fixed together.

I have slider systems for one up to 16 with or without Bundesverdienstkreuz. Also for sale.

      Miniatures:

You are right "no limit about the quantity"

In the first row there is a maximum of 7 decorations to wear.

If you have more, than you have to open another row.

These to rows are NOT fixed together.

I have slider systems for one up to 7. Also for sale.

Hope the information was useful for you.

      Thanks and

      byebye

Try to make another (better) foto or scan.

    13. Hi Lorenzo,

yes I know the german manufacturer. And I am sure, that I know which items are made there. I often see slip-ons which are made in china or in other places. Fabric, ribbon and way of seewing ist important. Also the embroidery on itsef.

Okay you are right, the picture is bad. I will do better fotos, but the samle card is arround 100 x 60 cm. So I have to do it pair by pair.

I left germany for one week, so please wait.

Maybe I remove the slip-ons from the card an use a scanner.

You are right. This grade is a 2 lt.. with one star. One stick-on-label is written by hand on top of the pair.

      Thank you

    14. Hello gentlemen,

today I show you one part of a sample card from the manufachturer of the slip-on`s. This company has arround the years 1995 up to 1998 (they told me) a big order for iraq.

They prepared the sample card for their on archive.

I show it to you how it is.

Maybe I can find the missing parts in their archive, because the goods are fixe with tape.

      Hope you enjoy it.

      Thanks
