Hi there Demir
This one showed up on our countries most popular trading site
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Antiques-collectables/Militaria/Medals/auction-292705424.htm
What do you think??? I always get suspicious when they offer things and know nothing about them

Even though he is a stubborn old bugger I can see his point of view. An interesting and nice story

Hi there
I know the feeling you have rusticalex, this is the first time I have been genuinely excited about a 'hobby'. I too am developing my own database, one as an easy reference point for info and two for insurance purposes as I have been told my little collection has to be insured seperately.
Welcome to this weird and wonderful world of militaria collecting

Very nice Darrell especially the Star and naming

The UNPROFOR - would that have been earned as liason rather than as a member of a NZ unit, & is the group named to a RNZAF?
This is named to RNZLR. The Logistics Regiment.
This medal was issued to 5,000 NZer's both military and civilian and was instituted in 2001 so imagine my surprise when I saw these being offered at an estate sale.
I know the RNZAF and SAS ones are rare, but there is always hope ;-)

Hi there,
Just picked these up and was quite excited, as its my first mounted set. Oh yeah the Nato ones come with a full set of miniatures as well
But the one that got me was the East Timor Medal, this is named and the unit was the logistics regiment, its a beautiful one to look at
Just thought I would share, my lady said I looked like a kid at xmas as I was so happy.
Thanks

Mervyn those badges are very nice and as Paul said you can see the British influence coming through

Very Nice Darell.
The only service record I have, which is South African shows that he went *missing* while on medical leave. Its actually quite funny reading it

The New Zealand prices for these are insane as well. Its actually cheaper to get them from overseas than local.

They look good to me.
The Merit Cross with swords was my first medal purchase
