    1. The one from emedals is a reproduction as has been stated. Here is a scan of a genuine Air Force MoH. Garth
    2. I recently aquired this medal in a lot of miscellaneous items. It is 2 1/2" (65mm) point to point) with a lovely well done enamelled centre and a open "C" catch pin back. I appears to be silver from the hallmarks on one star point. Any help id'ing the medal appreciated. Garth
    3. Leigh, The badge turned out to be for the Belgian Army Medical Detachment stationed in NI during WW2. Here is a link to a site for Belgian Army formation badges 1940 - 1946. http://www.be4046.eu/index1.htm Garth
    4. Thank you for all the replies. Pretty good actually; one positive ID and I'm now pretty sure the lower right is not military. Two to go. The shield has the Northern Ireland gate embroidered on. Con anyone think of a unit that used the green over maroon color scheme in their badges? Garth
    5. I think you are right but I can't find it in the B.L.Morris booklets I'm using for ID's. Garth
    6. Found these two in a large lot of formation badges I recently picked up. Can anyone help ID these two? Thanks in advance, Garth
    7. Here is an interesting wrist band for a W0II that came with this Jewish Brigade group. I'd never seen one before, possibly a very short term use item for the duration of the Brigades existance. Garth
    8. Here is another currently on ebay very much like my badge but with a different center piece. Garth
    9. Mervyn, I think I've a pretty good ID on the piece now. As I was trawling Ebay today I found this id'd as a Masonic jewel. It certainly has all the characteristics of my badge and is the same size. I'm betting I have some sort of masonic jewel. Thank you for all you thoughts on my piece. Luckey for you Ididn't take your 250 quid offer. Garth
    10. Very interesting post. Here is my offering: RSM badge on a brassard. This was used by RSM (WO1) Andy Green of the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards during his Northern Ireland tour. Enjoy, Garth
    11. I recently aquired these three medals in a group. They appear to be lifesaving or medical related. Any comments or information welcome. Thank you in advance, Garth
    12. I recently aquired this Conquest of Naples non-wearable medallion. I found it on the 1815 Paris Mint list as a Laskey #68. The size is 40mm in diameter and approximately 4mm thick. My questions are what was the purpose of these medals and does it have any collectability or value? Thank you, Garth
