Carabobo badge probably refers to battle beteween Venezuela and Spain on June 24 1821, then it is probably from Venezuela.

I invite you to read the bottom of the page of my link, at the section "Possible flag change". It is said (frome 6 June 2009) that the hammer and sickle flag will stay as state flag. Maybe in a near future (not adopted yet), the russian tricolor could be the new civil flag.

Hi, Just to say that the official state flag of Pridnestrovie has the hammer and sickle, but only on one side of the flag. The flag whitout h&s is the civil flag. See: www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/md-dnies.html for more infos.
