So was this guy from Hamburg, but served with a Brunswick regiment?

Backing material looks like the color used on the Austrian bars.

Check out this bar on Ebay.de . It makes you wonder why a faker would have two Prussian War Aid Crosses on the bar

Rick, thanks for the insight Maybe he died before 1934. The lack of the Honor Cross is what I liked about this bar.
Christophe: This is the best I could do on the wreath.

This medal bar sold recently on German Ebay. I have never seen one assembled like it. It looks like the ribbons are the type that is used to assemble ribbon bars. Is a piece like this legitimate?

The buyer removed the EK2 and listed it back on ebay!

Here is another one straight from Germany, from a seller in Dresden. All the medals are secured so they don't jingle around. Or is this the same bar that is shown above???
It's the same bar check the way the EK2 ribbon is folded.

I bet this bar on Ebay was sweet before the enamel prettys were sold. What is the first award on this bar? I imagine it would cost a mint to replce the awards.

...and you need to reverse the medals on the bar. As they are now the reverse of both medals are facing front.
The Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen is mounted correctly.

Hey Stogie, I saw that bar too. I have had my bar about eight years. I knew sooner or later I would see another one. Do you think these are 1920's manufactor?

Thanks Heiko. Have you ever seen this style ring attachment on a Saxe-Meiningen Medal?

Here's my little Saxe-Meiningen medalbar. It has a couple of things that odd to me. The Saxe- Meiningen medal has a ring attachment that I have never seen on this medal before. The medal is bronze. Is it a early war piece or a 1920's private purchase? It is also the only bar I have seen with a enameled Saxon Vet's cross mounted on it.

Are these from the 1920's?

Being a Prussian bar shouldn't the Prussian orders be placed ahead of the other states?
