Paul, there's nothing humble about your collection. You have some really great pieces I see you still have the white metal Life Saving Medal you got from me when you were overseas. Can't wait to see your new stuff.

It took me awhile but I finally have a medalbar with each of the Hanseatic crosses. First is the Hamburg. It has the less scene two ring cross.

Beautiful bars! It's great to see some enamel on Third Reich bars!

Hi Antti, The cross is marked 800. The cross backing plate is unmarked and the nut is marked D.R.G.M. 653146, PM and 800. Here's the front.

So most of the small frack bar like this were from guys who were wounded out? Is this bar war time or early 20's?
Thanks Chris

Here's a new piece for me a Hessen frack bar. It's the only frack in my collection. The medal is unmarked but looks to be silver.

Thanks for the comments guys. I usually would not take a bar with the back this heavily mothed but I couldn't pass on this combination.

This is my first medal bar fron this Grand Duchy. I think the Silver General Honor Decoration is a wartime issue as it is marked 990. I have not seen these on medal bars many times.
