ALL OF IT!!!!
I'm with Joe.
While I concentrate mainly on ww1 screwbacks, I have minis,
paper weights, collector cards, plaques, minis, toys.
A bit of everything.

While I don't collect bars, I have seen my share of them.
For me the award that is a non-starter is the Bavarian Ludwig cross.
Bavaria had some Beautiful awards for it's combatants and officers,
the Ludwig cross for service on the home from is just plain ugly.

Chris---I would never resort to bribes.
Mervyn, The Swiss bayo is on it's way as promised. :-)

Here is a picture of the Swiss next to my butcher blade.
I bought the Swiss bayo from our local surplus store back in 1969
when I was 13 years old. I think I paid $8 for it.

I have the typical Butcher blade sawback and also the Swiss
version which is considerably longer.

That's the first chain I have seen with the spange/Ek done like that.
I like it.

That's the first time I have seen one of these on a single mount.
I like it a lot.

I'm right there with you Eric. I have not bought a new cross yet this year.

Very nice cross.
It may not be a perfect example but it is still a maker marked
Godet with Fangs. A very collectable and desirable cross.
Congrats.

Hi Glenn,
I'm still kicking.
Like you, the only german items I collect are all Iron Cross related.
However I do have a dagger and a Pickelhaube to help display the crosses.

It's almost the same story for me. As a kid in the 60s, my step dad and I watched all the military shows
and movies. I also remember about 1966 or maybe 67 seeing "Hell's Angels on Wheels" --lots of crosses
and swazies. I even wore a cheap surfers cross back then.
The dude who designed the cross came up with a very powerfull design. It's simple and bold
and when you combine that with the fact that it supposedly represented the evil empire, I think
it makes a strong impression on young minds----just my theory.

Welcome aboard Clive,
Like you I collect mainly Imperial but have a few representative 1939s.
Sascha-- Nicely done. I had not seen that explained that well before.

It's not for sale ---yet.
I'm a collecter. I still have some of the things I collected as a kid.
I find it very hard to let go. My wife hates that about me.

That's 3 times what I paid for mine.

If it were not for the 800 silver stamp, I would say it was made
for the 60's biker market.---that may still be a posibility
