I once read that Andorra was at war with Germany from 1914 until 1945, for the simple reason that it was forgotten to include them in the treaty at the end of WW1 ?
Montenegro and Japan were at war over hundred years, to be more precise from 1904 until 2006.

You are welcome! I wasn't aware of the exhibition otherwise I would have went to Novi Sad to see it in person and then we would have better images. Unfortunately the photos from the article are too small and so far I wasn't able to find better ones.

Amazing, thanks for photos!
It's been over 10 years since my last visit to Thessaloniki, next time I go there I'll definitely visit the War Museum.
The only thing I dislike are the pins put through the ribbons, there are better ways of displaying decorations.
Do they have some foreign decorations on display as well?

I wouldn't say no to that!
Dear seller, feel free to contact me for further information regarding the payment.0 -
Paul, thanks once again, very interesting topic! Unfortunately my knowledge is almost entirely limited to Serbian/Yugoslav militaria.
By the way medal bar with knight size White Eagle was posted by Nick here:Absolutely amazing medal bar with connection to Serbia and Montenegro as well.

Not bad, 50% profit.
By the way when was the last time anyone saw Miloš made by Jacob Leser? Leser examples seem to be extremely rare. This was the last one I noticed: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/11040910_order-of-milosh-the-greatEven in Car/Muhić book you can see just 2 examples, 3rd and 4th class. Has anyone ever seen Leser made breast star, if that producer even made them. When you take a look at that "Grand Cross Sash Badge" from above and it's "sash with Russian type gold ring" I wouldn't be surprised if someone took 3rd class and put it on some sash.

Thank you for your reply, Paul.
Let me take Austria-Hungary for example. If I understood well "Kleine Dekoration zum Großkreuz" is knight's cross worn with reduced grand cross on triangular ribbon. Such practice didn't exist in Serbia/Yugoslavia and I don't remember seeing example like that. Unfortunately they don't mention size of the order, but being described as "ritterdekoration" I presume it must be the same size as 5th (and 4th) class.0 -
Location of the stairway, name of the street is "Prilaz" (Прилаз). A minute away from there, at the corner of the "Prilaz" and "Tošin bunar" (Тошин бунар) streets is the Evangelistic Church (circled on the map).

I noticed one of them has an inscription, I think it goes like this:
...MALD
SEMLIN
Perhaps place of birth and place of death, Semlin is the German name for Zemun. There's a nice view when you climb up. The tower that can be seen all the way to the left is Hungarian Gardoš or Millennium Tower.

Don't mention it, even though they are usually sold as copies first post proves that there are people selling them as originals. First one is better than the rest of them but when you compare it with the original badge you see the difference.

So that's what "Kleine Dekoration zum Großkreuz" means, not being very familiar with German that confused me a little bit. As far as I know something like that never existed in Serbia/Yugoslavia... You either had regular size order or miniature.

The 4th class from ebay obviously ended up here: http://www.liverpoolmedals.com/Order-of-Milosh-the-Great-IVth-class-breast-badge.html
And the price jumped from 3.900 to 5995 GBP...

Jovićević mentions in his book that the only example of the medal kept in Cetinje museum has JC hallmark on it. J. Christlbauer perhaps?
