This seemed like the best place to post couple of pictures from the exhibition held in Australia two years ago I recently stumbled upon online.

Artillery captain first class mundir according to the regulations from 1935 most easily recognized by the single row of buttons (before 1935 and from 1939 onward buttons were in two rows).

That was a really funny detail to me as well I agree about the uniform, ribbon bar seems to be authentic though And that belt he's wearing also looks pretty similar to the ones used by the YPA.

I happen to have ribbon bar with the same order of ribbons.

Looks like our friend was decorated with Yugoslav:

-Order of the People's Army 3rd class

-Order of Military Merits 3rd class

-30 Years of YPA

-30 Years of Victory Over Fascism

-40 Years of YPA

First I must point out that I noticed this detail by accident while trying to find something decent on TV, I avoid movies rated 3.0 on IMDB

Me as well, I even wanted to start a topic with decorated Serbian priests but just wasn't able to gather that much material.

I don't think that that kind of a uniform was used by the police or gendarmerie, their uniforms were very different, at least to my knowledge.

I am not a big expert for uniforms but I've never seen anything like that being used is Serbia/Yugoslavia so my personal opinion is that it's foreign.
