"More than 60 instruments and descriptions of torture methods which served to punish offenders in medieval history will be exhibited at the Belgrade Fortress, in the casemates of the Military Museum.
The exhibits are life-size replicas of medieval torture devices from the private collections of European collectors and historians.
The instruments were widely used for interrogations and punishment in the 16th and 17th century, and in some cases, similar devices were even used in the 20th century."

Marinović's photo and biography are available HERE (text in Serbian).
He became general in 1913, these are some of the positions he held during his career: minister in the Serbian government, infantry inspector, professor at Military academy, military judge and editor of the magazine "Warrior" (Ratnik). I can't speak for other countries but Serbian representatives were very carefully selected, just remember some of the names we wrote about in other topics.0 -

Nice photos! I think the second photo is from pre-1982 period so that officer holds the rank of lieutenant colonel.

I'm not sure about the far left decorations, looks like the French Legion of Honor might be at the bottom. Next to the People's Hero is Bulgarian Bravery Order, and next to the Legion of Merit is French War Cross 1939-1945 with palm branch.
