maybe he was on holiday , i wonder if it was the same case of the British officer who was awarded the Dutch war cross with the Atjeh bar because he ''volunteered'' his services to the Dutch while he was there on a hunting trip

Gents i saw a pic awhile ago with a Very Very well decorated German general taken around 1885-90 with him wearing a British Egypt medal tooked in at the end, if anybody knows the General in question could they pleas post a pic and any info they may have on him Andrew

Hi guys my 1st post so please be gentle i have a great interest in the China 1900 campaign (the British end anyway) but rather like the look of the German medal and the bars that were awarded for it, could some kind soul post a list of the bars official and not that one can find on the medal.
