    1. ulsterman i am not the same thread as last year i feel insulted at this .im looking for help here as people came to me for advice so i turned to this forum and i get labelled as the same thread as last year im only looking help, not to get accused in the wrong and also threatened to have my say on the forum locked down, this is unjust.
    2. exactly mervyn i agree with you and also thanks for your help ,the type of these guys are you will see them at a fair or a market then the next you see them might be never, and a lot of people dont go to fairs as this is the case here that the father always wanted one of these medals the man himself couldnt tell the real from fake as he just wanted a piece if original history, as it happens he stuck with a medal probably made in the last 4 years.there was a lot of posts on the forum last year a guy called pet raised the same issues and he was laughed at but i think that pet seems to be telling the truth after all,i hate to admit it i even laughted at him but his wording seems to be coming true as this has happened on 6 occasions this last 12 months,i wish pet would come on the forum as i believe he could help point out this sort of underhand dealers.
    3. i thought this the best place to share this as just recently ive had a family who worked hard and saved up money to buy there ageing father easter rising medals, the cost was over £1,500.00.for his seventy birthday when he showed his gift he was a very proud to be the owner of such a great piece of history, only to find out that the family had been sold fakes, when the family approached the seller he just says he bought them from a dealer in belfast city centre, when asked for a refund the seller replied sold as seen ,now the family have been out lots of money and the annoyance of there seventy year old father, and as decent medals dealers know that we help each other and our customers,i wonder if anyone can help ,or maybe they have had a similar expierence.
    4. Hi folks. I am wondering, can anyone help the innocent medal collector of Easter rising medals,as I've had 6 collectors contact me about fake Easter rising being sold in Belfast for thousands of pounds and they are faked.
